Tripsy 3.10: Set Your Travel Inspiration Free

If you're anything like me, you get your travel ideas from a range of different places online and in person.

Maybe you're visiting your best friend after they've moved home and they've sent you their Google Maps list of go-to fish and chip shops in their lovely seaside town, or you've seen an Instagram post for an event at your favorite bar, or you got handed a flyer for an upcoming event in the town you're visiting.

The question was always the same, how do you get those into your favorite travel app? With Tripsy 3.10, we've got the answer and from today your travel inspiration breaks free of the slew of lists, social media stories, booking pages, PDF documents, and emails with Smart Import.

🪄 Smart Import

Turn your photos, screenshots, documents, saved emails, and pasted text into places and reservations within Tripsy.
Import Google Maps and Apple Maps lists and guides, travel websites, and accessible Instagram and TikTok posts.
Review results on the map, edit the details as needed to add dates etc, and then import all the results, or just the ones you really care about.
You optionally attach the original files and links to your activities so you can refer back to them later.

There's a whole range of possibilities here, the team have had a lot of fun testing this out, and we'll have a detailed guide with some examples of what you can do.

Smart Import uses our own processing server, along with a range of suitable models for each task. You can read more about how Smart Import works in our full guide.

🕵️‍♂️ Smart Insights

Find useful details from attached documents and emails right in your activities, including baggage, breakfast, parking, and cancellation policies.
Review suggested totals before adding or updating activity costs or trip expenses.

Document analysis for Smart Insights runs locally on your device and requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence.

🔧 Other improvements

Find all your trip’s hotels in location suggestions and dismiss airport departure suggestions you no longer need.
Improved travel statistics refresh, map stability, and Mac import layouts.

Smart Import and Smart Insights are available as part of our PRO features on supported OS versions.
